About us
1 in 9 people lack access to safe water and 1 in 3 lack access to a toilet. Water.org exists to change this. We empower people in need with access to small, affordable loans for water and sanitation solutions at home - unlocking education, economic opportunity and improved health. Access to safe water empowers women in Peru with time to work, kids in Ethiopia with time for school, and families in India and around the world with bright futures. Water has the power to change lives. You do too.
