The 100 Club of Chicago provides for the families of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This membership based organization offers several forms of financial assistance, access to resources, and post-secondary education scholarships for dependents of fallen heroes. All sworn federal, state, county and local first responders stationed in Cook, Lake and McHenry Counties are included. Since our inception in 1966, we have served 274 families with over $11 million of support. We currently have 30 Scholars and 84 more we have committed to supporting when they reach college age -- a promise of at least $5 million over the next eighteen years.
