Victoria Acres Equine Facility, Inc. was founded in May of 2012 by Erin Pashley, Victoria Acre's Executive Director, and became a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, in 2014. Ms. Pashley has extensive equine experience and has personally seen the benefit of equine-inspired wellness and healing through horses. She imagined the impact that equine therapy could have on individuals of all ages and abilities. It became her goal to provide empowering, encouraging, and educational equine-assisted opportunities to people living in the Capital Region of New York and beyond. This vision has manifested into Victoria Acre's mission of promoting empowerment, encouragement, and education through equine-assisted therapies to a wide range of individuals. Everyone has a story, a challenge they are facing. The Board of Directors believes that dedicated work with equines, professionals, and trained volunteers can help children and adults heal and achieve great goals. Victoria Acres Equine Facility, Inc. provides hope, and the opportunity to change lives one individual at a time.Victoria Acres is proud that our fees have remained the same for almost 10 years, but they only cover approximately 61 percent of the actual cost of providing our riding programs/activities.Caring for our herd is Victoria Acres's highest priority and largest expense totaling over $100,000,00 annually. Their care includes housing, staff to care for them, grain/hay, bedding, veterinarian care, vaccines, dentist, medicine/supplements, and farrier services. Victoria Acres is blessed to have a herd of eight equine partners with a median age of 27 years old, our herd is our most valuable asset without them Victoria Acres cannot provide our life-changing equine-assisted therapy programs.  Providing our herd with superior care allows them to provide superior services to our clients.
