Howling Heroes is a Division of a Non Profit organization called  . .  The VFR - Veterans & First Responders Foundation is a 501 - C3 non Profit organization that directs all its energy to the responder community being -  Police, Fire, Military, Dispatch, Ems, K9. Inside the Umbrella of the VFR organization is a division called . . . Howling Heroes. Howling Heroes energy is directed to Police & Military retired K9 and fills in additional needed gaps. Howling Heroes  provides a very comprehensive FULL COVERAGE MEDICAL POLICY for a retired K9 for ( LIFE ) at no cost to the handler for all medical, checkups and death cost. Howling Heroes also provides new K9 dogs to a City that meets that Howling Heroes qualifications which is totally donated by the VFR that covers the cost of the Dog, training for the dog, training for the new handler and state certification at zero cost to the city. We have additional programs in the pipe line ay this time that we will be unfolding this year that have to do with providing additional K9 equipment that is provided at zero cost. We are spear heading to provide our first Police Vehicle that is totally outfitted for a K9 responder in the near future that will be totally donated. The Goal of the VFR is to make a real difference in all its effort an energy. The VFR has created a New National Day in the United States, A PROCLAMATION was formed and approved Nationally, on the first Saturday in the Month Of August for Ever. The new National Day is called . . .  ( National VFR Day) We celebrated this year at the Guardians MLB game with 38,000 folks and invited 1000 responders to attend to Celebrtate the day with us.  ! It's a day that gives the Entire Responder Community a day of thanks to all the Responders in the United States Of America.
