Vegan Australia envisions a world in which people treat animals with respect, ensure justice for them and enable them to live their lives free of human exploitation, use and ownership. We do this by supporting the vegan community, educating the public about animal rights and veganism and presenting a strong voice for veganism to governments, institutions, corporations and the media. We advocate on behalf of animals to bring about the end of the production and consumption of animal products and the abolition of the use of animals for any purpose, including food, clothing and entertainment. We campaign for veganism as the basis of a just and ethical society and promote its benefits to human health, the natural environment and social justice. Vegan Australia uses donors' money to advocate for veganism using public campaigns, to present a strong voice for veganism to governments, institutions and the media and to support people in making changes.
