Uni Camp for Kids is WA’s oldest registered children’s charity, continuing to achieve our aims of providing Camps and Picnics for emotionally, socially, and/or financially underprivileged Perth Children since 1936. We run day-long Picnics, and week-long Summer Camps that are provided completely free to the children and their families. Our mission is to saturate our event itineraries with fun and rewarding activities that take a proactive step towards improving the mindset and lives of at-risk children that their various circumstances often deprive them of. These activities include visiting the zoo, Bounce, Inflatable World, and various pools around Perth. As we deal with kids in the most difficult circumstances, we prioritise a positive space for kids to be themselves above any agenda. We instead provide a safe, carefree environment where they are able to experience constructive role modelling and create positive childhood memories. Uni Camp for Kids heavily relies on donors to continue running our program every year. As we are run and staffed entirely by student volunteers, every donation goes directly to our programs. Donations have massive positive effect on children experiencing disadvantage, and we thank you in advance for this.
