Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group (HBAWG) is a non-profit organization made up of a group of volunteers who are dedicated to helping pets out of less than perfect situations and getting them into their forever homes. Since HBAWG’s inception in 2008, we have helped over 10,000 pets find a home. On any given day, we typically have between 100-150 animals whom our network of volunteers is caring for while we work to find them a home. We spay or neuter every pet. Many animals come to us with a medical condition (heartworm, heart defects, dental problems, orthopedic issues) and we do everything we can to bring them back to good health.
