Treasure Boxes is a volunteer run not-for-profit charity providing vital clothing packs and other necessities for South Australian children in emergency care, survivors of domestic abuse and victims of natural disasters. We support kids and families who have survived domestic violence, kids who have been displaced and are living in emergency, foster, and kinship care, and kids and families at high risk of poverty and homelessness. Many people aren’t aware of just how many kids in South Australia are affected. It can be your neighbor, the local shopkeeper, or your friends’ family. Treasure Boxes is a registered Charity supporting kids living in disadvantage. Since 2015, we’ve been able to contribute more than $320,000 worth of goods to kids and families living in disadvantage, thanks to strong community support and our broader Treasure Boxes family. Supporting and getting involved in Treasure Boxes allows everyone to become a contributor in making possible the goal of supporting kids less fortunate that are living right beside us in the community, who would otherwise be left struggling and in despair.
