The Trans Housing Atlanta Program (THAP) is a grassroots, community-led organization rooted in over a decade of advocacy for transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) individuals in the Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.

At the core of THAP’s work is a commitment to ensuring that TGNC individuals have access to safe, affirming, and stable housing environments free from stigma and harm. Through a combination of our transitional housing, emergency assistance, and support services, THAP creates pathways toward independence, dignity, and self-sufficiency.

Trans Housing Atlanta Program gives individuals a chance to reside in safe housing while actively seeking gainful employment. Once secured individuals contribute below market rate rent to THAP house allowing the organization to continue assisting the community and prepare to build additional housing.
