We are a 501c3 animal rescue and transport organization. We mainly help in transporting animals from kill shelters to rescues in order to keep them from being euthanized. HEART is a way for rescues who are not located close to the Central Texas area to be able to rescue animals. Furthermore, we also assist shelters in the Central Texas Area transport dogs to a facility that is able to treat the disease Parvo. This service is needed in order to receive treatment as shelters do not have the funds for this kind of costly medical treatment. Since this is a type of transport that has to be done in a timely manner we stand ready to transport when needed. We understand that time is of the essence in getting treatment. Without this assistance they would not get the medical attention that is needed. The outcome for survival for not getting treatment is very poor. HEART also rescues and help pets to get loving, forever homes.
