Timor Leste Vision (TLV) is a volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation based in Perth and in Dili, which works in partnership with the people of Timor Leste (East Timor) to support and strengthen local communities. We are a small grass-roots organisation working directly with the people in Timor Leste. All the projects are designed and delivered in collaboration with Timorese communities with the aim to create sustainable livelihoods for the people in Timor by addressing development needs in areas such as education and water and sanitation which are all desperately needed. To date we have completed 3 water and sanitation projects, renovated a boarding college allowing an extra 100 students to receive an education, worked in partnership with another organisation to build a library and assist in the supply of books, a scholarship program which has produced accountants, engineers, a teacher, a nurse, a psychologist who are now working in Timor Leste. Our team in Perth and in Dili consists of volunteers who are dedicated and passionate about the work being done. We are engineers, accountants, retirees, managers, lawyers, marketing professionals and all believing in the work being done.
