For over 20 years, The Williams Institute for Ethics and Management (TWI) has been dedicated to raising ethical awareness and promoting transparency, integrity, and accountability across industries and communities. Today, we recognize that strong ethical leadership is more important than ever.  TWI’s mission is to promote ethics in community through research, education and leadership, by helping young people and adults to Judge what is right, Care deeply about what is right, and Do what is right. TWI promotes Transformative Ethics which is about empowering people to be a force for building a stronger ethical community. People and relationships are the focus, moving beyond reliance on codes of conduct to provide awareness and tools that empower personal responsibility and accountability for ethical decisions. This approach generates "a drop of ethical value that creates a ripple of change and influence." The result: an Ethical culture that lives in hearts and minds.  We assist individuals to Articulate their reasoning for their choices, Equip them with tools for ethical decision making, Empower them to be responsible for those decisions—in both their personal and professional lives. We accomplish this mission through an Ethics Awareness Inventory, innovative Ethics training and an ethics essay contest for high school and university students. We believe there is a Positive value to ethical behavior.  We ask you to help us promote this positive mindset towards ethics.
