Hochoka provides programs for wellness, stress management, self growth - through animals and nature.  We have been working with horses for 45 years; and find there is no better self leadership awareness and development than the conveyances from the horses to humans.  All of nature heals - being away from technology; being in fresh air, sunshine and all the elements of earth - God made - is where we can learn to heal; allowing space and time to let the brain not work; the nervous system relax to reset; allow for energy of nature to come through and into out body and mind and heart.  We are also creating living space for homeless teen girls; for older single women or men who want to learn to serve in this environment.  We are teaching adults how to build their own home - the tiny house living project - to help with the high cost of rent or mortgages.  When we are not tethered to a mortgage; we have time to help others and better help ourselves and family.  We have more time to reflect on what life really means and make changes towards living a better.  We are also offering death doula learning modules; in which we learn how to navigate those we love or ourselves facing end of life processes.  Working with this proactively allows for grace and love instead of a hospital long stay hook up to machines for end of life.  We learn how to live well and die well.  All of our programs are designed to each individual's needs, the life events they are facing or have lived through which cause stress, traumas held in the body.  Horses are the centerpiece.  They are mirrors into the soul.  They are clear, direct and have no agenda.  Hochoka's only agenda is that everyone we touch has a new perspective; revived life energy;
