The Sanctuary of Embracing Difference works to provide creative and sustainable solutions to communities and peoples through the delivery of holistic social and emotional wellbeing programs, conferences and workshops, that change lives one person at a time. Our vision is to raise the self-esteem of Australia’s most vulnerable peoples and communities so they may gain the life skills necessary to move forward in life with renewed trust and confidence. We believe that by through renewed self-esteem and life-skills, individuals and communities can feel empowered to come together and harness the passion, creativity and leadership they need to break the chain of vulnerability and create a sustainable path for the future.We recognise that to achieve our purpose we must walk our talk. We know the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and for this reason we strive to unite people from diverse backgrounds and with a range of diverse and unique skills and experience. We celebrate diversity at all levels knowing that within diversity is strength. This is our uniqueness, which in turn enables us to recognise the diversity existing within communities and the value that each unique individual brings to that community. With this strength we work to unite individuals, encourage collaboration and unity and grow the strengths of communities as a whole.
