MND and Me adopts a collaborative approach with corporate entities, health providers and other MND and progressive neurological disease associations to ensure no one faces MND alone. MND and Me aims to provide the right solutions at the right time throughout the cycle of pre-diagnosis, diagnosis, living with MND and following a loved ones’ passing. MND and Me Foundation continues to deliver and fund a service offering to meet the changing needs of people living with MND. The current service offering includes: Service coordination – ensuring no one faces MND alone Research funding – providing grants and funding towards a cure Supply of equipment (short/medium term) – filling the access gap between prescription and delivery Tailored Support Groups – – developing a community support network for metropolitan and regional Queenslanders Access to health professionals – demonstrating individual solutions for individual needs Information Services – keeping the community connected via support, care, awareness and research updates Home improvement and Care grants – improving quality of life Carer services – facilitating mental health and wellbeing for adults and children.
