REDEMPTION ROAD Inc. was established to undertake the sale day purchase and rescue of good horses of high potential that are at risk of, or destined for, slaughter (i.e. for human consumption or pet food).   Our approach is wholistic and includes assessment, rehabilitation and basic training in order to re-home our horses to good, long-term homes and provide them with a safety net of caring horse minded people to ensure their safety and well being for the years to come. REDEMPTION ROAD Inc. was built on the concept of forming a body of people that can continue to advocate for the welfare and well-being of all horses at risk in a positive and constructive way. We do that by managing important relationships in the places that it matters most for these horses. Together as a community we seek to lead change and make a difference for equine welfare on both a local and national scale.  Here at REDEMPTION ROAD INC, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world for our equines is a little commonsense, a positive voice for change, a group experienced passionate people and the support of our community. Since our founding in February 2019, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s experience, knowledge and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in, not JUST to those horses that NEED a helping hand!  Through all of our endeavours we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs, provide homes, refuge and rehabilitation to some of Australia's finest equines and build a community that are ready to stand along side us as we strive for better welfare standards for our equines.
