The joy committee is a local grassroots nonprofit organization located in the Florida panhandle.

We do many projects to help improve the lives of those in our community.

We rescue German shepherds. We focus on medically complex dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. We work with local trainers to ensure our dogs are ready prior to going into homes. 

We do an angel tree every year for children in our local community who are financially challenged.

We provide dinner quarterly at local nursing homes.

We provide thanksgiving baskets to local families in need.

We help new mothers with baby supplies as well as helping families struggling to put groceries on the table. 

We are 100 percent volunteer run with no paid staff!
