SSSP’s primary mission is to give every child the opportunity to learn the skills, experience the growth, and share in the fun of being on a sports team.  We focus on resource-challenged Catholic schools in the Los Angeles Archdiocese. We know there is a yawning academic achievement gap between the children from our most privileged neighborhoods and those from our most deprived.  Similarly, there is a shocking disparity in the quality and availability of sports programs across communities. SSSP helps level the playing fields.  We are supporting the after school sports programs at 77 schools as well as hosting tournaments, clinics, college visit days to USC, UCLA & LMU and a Leadership Academy for outstanding 8th graders.
