About us
Greenwood Lake Theater is an Equity Professional Theater company in Orange County, NY and had its humble beginnings in New York City as Mercia Entertainment in 2011. In 2013 our company was awarded non-profit status, and over the years we have produced fundraisers, cabarets, readings, outdoor Shakespeare, plays, and summer musicals. Once the company shifted to Orange County, NY, it was renamed and rebranded as Greenwood Lake Theater to better reflect the community we serve. Our growth led to our partnership with the Warwick Historical Society. Their beautiful venue, the Old School Baptist Meeting House, was home to many of our live performances. Our current home is the theatre at Mountain Lake Park in Warwick.
