We are a scientific evidence based charity, providing a support service for inflammatory breast cancer patients and their families.
Our charity is run entirely by volunteers.
What is inflammatory breast cancer?
- Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) is a rare and highly fatal form of breast cancer that is not typically discovered by mammogram and often occurs prior to standard screening age recommendations for breast cancer
- IBC makes up only around 2% of all breast cancers in the UK
- IBC can affect both men and women
- To advance the education of the public and health professionals about inflammatory breast cancer
- To promote and fund research in the UK for inflammatory breast cancer, and to promote the results thereof
- To provide advocacy, advice, information, and support
