The Cayman Islands Humane Society has been in existence for over 50 years and is the only cat and dog animal shelter for the three islands.  Our mission is to rescue, protect and find loving families for Cayman’s homeless cats and dogs.  To end, cruelty, neglect, and abuse, and to help reduce overpopulation and its impact on our environment, through spay / neutering. 

Vision is to nurture a society that values animals’ rights and treats them with respect and kindness.  

We do this through our rescue, foster, adoption and spay & neuter programs combined with community partnerships, outreach and education and veterinarian and welfare support to pet owners in need.

To continue our work, we rely on regular fundraising and donations, however, our annual expenses are over $1.1 million which is what is required to keep our shelter operating each year.
