About us
Established in 1953 in British Columbia, Canada, The Fur-Bearers is a registered charity that works to protect fur-bearing animals in the wild and confinement through conservation, advocacy, research and education. Our legal name is The Association for the Protection of Fur-Bearing Animals.
Our primary focus is to end the commercial fashion fur industry, and to promote co-existence with wildlife. Our vision is to create a world where humans and wildlife can co-exist peacefully. Will you join us?
