The Current Event Club is a small non-profit in the county of Medina TX.  We support other non-profits listed below) and our high school seniors in their endeavors.   We have no steady income other than our membership dues ($25 annually), grants from corporations or foundations such as WalMart, Medina Electric and we sponsor Wreaths Across America.   We hold monthly meetings to keep current on our local and national events.  We provide a $1,000 scholarship to a qualified senior.  

Non-profits or Community events that we sponsor/donate or in general give a helping hand are:

Mission Devine, Wings & Reins Equine Rescue, Restore Reproductive Health, Scholarship ISD, Devine Educ. Foundation, Devine Lions Club, Medina County Family Life Center, Gift of Hope, Driscoll Public Library, Devine Food Pantry, Devine Health & Rehab Center, Devine Animal Shelter and the local Christmas Santa programs.   We also sponsor the Wreaths Across America for the two Devine Cemetery's.
