"The Children's Bridge of Zichron Menachem, Inc." which is based in New York City, is a nonprofit organization (501 (c) (3)) incorporated in January of 1999. We are dedicated to raising funds to provide social services to children with cancer. Our flagship organization Zichron Menachem was founded in 1990 and is the first organization to assist cancer sick children and their families in Israel. Zichron Menachem provides many services to a wide range of problems from the moment the disease is discovered. To mention a few: • Zichron Menachem has the largest reservoir of blood and blood product donors in Israel. • A guesthouse is available for the families of children coming to Jerusalem for medical treatment. • Assistance is provided for the sick children in their homes and at the hospitals. • Year round activities are available, such as summer and winter camps, day trips and birthday parties. • Computer's, VCR's, TV's, games, books etc. are available to the children. • Support groups are provided on a regular basis to the entire family. Zichron Menachem’s State of the Art Day/Rehabilitation Center located in Jerusalem includes a Medical Wing, a Sports Wing, a Music Wing, a Resting Wing, a Parent Support Group area, an Auditorium and a Multipurpose Lobby. Our organization works towards taking care and providing for all the basic day to day needs of the cancer stricken children as well as their families in the hope that this will allow the children to focus all their energies on getting better. We believe that in order to help sick children it is essential to make them forget their sickness. Doctor's work to get the illness out of the children, Zichron Menachem works to get the children out of the illness.
