We are a two-year-old charity founded in memory of our daughter, Mackenzie, who passed away at age 11 of leukemia. Towards the end of her life we set out on a bucket list of amazing and special experiences that she could have and do before she was too sick to do them. This idea inspired us to give these quick turnaround, local experiences for kids currently fighting. We always try to include the family and siblings when we plan these. Whether the child wants to go to a concert, have a backstage pass to the zoo, or just get a swingset for their backyard, we make it happen! We also trying to help out families in other ways too. Sometimes it’s helping pay for a funeral or do a special fundraiser for a family who can’t afford their bills while in treatment. We do everything we can to be there for these families and provide a special experience that will make them all forget about cancer, even if it’s just for a day.
