We are an Australian based charity, established in 2005 to support orphaned, abandoned and other highly vulnerable children in Nepal. We work to prevent trafficking and unnecessary separation of children from their families, to reunite displaced children with their families and communities, and provide children with a nurturing environment, free from poverty, abuse and neglect.

Thousands of children in Nepal continue to be unnecessarily separated from their families, as a result of trafficking or being enticed away with the promise of a better life and education. Almost 15,000 children reside in orphanages or other similar institutions, of which over 85% are not orphans. Thousands more work as child labourer’s or are forced into early marriage. Many continue to be exploited, abused and denied of their basic rights.

We run various child protection, education and livelihood development initiatives designed to educate and empower children and their families and help break the poverty cycle, so children can grow up in nurturing family environments, and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
