About us
United Way SA are the sole distributors of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in South Australia. Current reports show that 1 in 3 children are starting school without the basic literacy and communication skills they need. This is even higher in low socio-economic areas. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a home delivered program encouraging reading from birth to 5 years old. Each child registered to the program receives the gift of a monthly book pack and parents receive a support sheet to help engage their child with reading and creating a love of books.
Literacy is a life skill everyone needs no matter their postcode.
