Dress for Success NSW & ACT helps women build economic mobility by providing free professional clothing, styling, career support and practical tools that strengthen confidence, dignity and opportunity at every stage of their employment journey.   

Who We Are 

Dress for Success NSW & ACT is a not-for-profit organisation and a leading resource for advancing women in the workplace by supporting women to enter, return to and progress in work. We provide free professional clothing, styling, career coaching, practical tools and ongoing support to help women build confidence, capability and economic mobility. 

Who We Serve 

The world of work is changing, and women’s career journeys are more complex than ever. Women navigating workforce entry, re-entry, or advancement need real-time support, adaptable skills, and clear pathways to sustainable careers.  

We support every woman who has been held back by changing life circumstances, loss of confidence or lack of opportunity. It may include redundancy, divorce, illness, domestic violence, immigration, incarceration, or caring responsibilities. 

It could be your neighbour, your sister, your colleague or your friend. 

We help every woman rebuild self-worth, grow in confidence and take steps towards standing on her own two feet. 

What We Do 

We provide free professional clothing, styling, job readiness coaching and tailored career support to help women build confidence, prepare for work and take their next step toward economic mobility. 

Our sustainable donation model turns community generosity into meaningful support for women on their path to employment. Quality donated clothing is used in styling appointments, while items not selected for client wardrobes are sold through our fundraising fashion sales, helping fund essential employment-support programs 

Our Impact 

In the past year (2025), we delivered over 3,000 styling services at pivotal career moments, and more than 5,000 women have accessed continued support through our Career Hub. These services help women build confidence, prepare for opportunity and move forward in ways that can change not only their working lives, but their families and communities.
