Since 1 July 2014, the Society of Companion Animal Rescuers (SoCares) has been managing the Charmhaven impound operations on behalf of Central Coast Council. We also operate as an adoption centre for the unfortunate stray dogs and cats that are not claimed by their owners. Every animal in our care is treated as one of our own. Our aim is to REUNITE lost pets with their owners, REHABILITATE animals not claimed and REHOME every adoptable animal to a loving forever home. We are a small group of dedicated animal lovers who achieve substantial results with little financial assistance. SoCares has successfully reunited and rehomed thousands of dogs and cats from all over the Central Coast. SoCares is a registered Not For Profit Charity ABN 22106398721.
