Through our innovative Work & Welcome program we provide work placements for clients.
HoW launched its onsite commercial kitchen in 2021 and the House of Welcome Catering Social Enterprise provides great menus and employment opportunities for refugees and people seeking asylum.
HoW provides safe and stable accommodation to clients to allow a platform to pursue employment, care for family members, lodge protection claims and mitigate destitution for the most vulnerable, and has a focus on accommodation women on temporary visas, with a DFV background, who have limited access mainstream services.
HoW provides trauma informed casework to assist clients to access resources and community supports, and to build networks of referral pathways for highly vulnerable clients.
