Sit Happens Rescue

Sit Happens Rescue is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to giving homeless, abandoned, neglected, and medically needy dogs a second chance at life. As a foster-based organization, we provide individualized care, safe housing, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and love while each dog awaits their forever home.

We believe every dog deserves compassion, regardless of age, breed, medical condition, or past circumstances. From emergency medical cases and special-needs dogs to puppies and seniors, we step in when dogs have nowhere else to turn.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs while educating our community about responsible pet ownership and advocating for animal welfare. Through the dedication of our fosters, volunteers, adopters, and supporters, we work tirelessly to transform lives, one dog at a time.

At Sit Happens Rescue, we don't just save dogs. We give them hope, healing, and the opportunity to become cherished family members.

Saving lives, creating families, and proving that every dog deserves a happy ending. 🐾❤️
