Humanity for Horses believes humanity must speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. We are dedicated to rescuing animals that have been abandoned, abused or dumped. We have made a commitment to always be a home to hundreds of horses.

Today over 750 animals, 650 of them being horses, call the sanctuary their forever home. Because 99% of our rescues come in injured, sick or lame, we are a hospice to some, a hospital to others and a spa to those who have healed. We never adopt out as a protection against any further risk of mistreatment.

The sanctuary has become a home where animals sometimes find their birth families from whom they were separated, or fall in love with new partners. Unbeknownst to us, over the years several horses have been saved who were pregnant at the time, so we had to build special birthing shelters for them. We always keep those mommas and babies together forever.
