Sir John Soane's Museum
About us
Sir John Soane’s Museum was established in 1837 on the death of British architect John Soane and is the smallest of the UK’s National Museums. Soane’s house and collection are now free to inspire and educate all those who visit. With a collection of antiquities, furniture, models, and paintings by artists including Turner, Hogarth and Canaletto, the Soane also houses over 30,000 architectural drawings and Soane’s Library and Archive.
