Development Media International
About us
Our mission is to deliver evidence-based behaviour change campaigns to improve health and save lives. We use storytelling to motivate change and use scientific methods to test the impact of our interventions.. We have proved, through several randomised controlled trials, that DMI media campaigns can convince people to protect themselves from disease, seek treatment at the right time, and help them to plan and raise healthy families. Our methodology relies on mathematical modelling to determine how many lives each message can potentially save and to design the most cost-effective high impact campaigns. In-depth formative research allows us to understand the barriers to behaviour change amongst our target audience, and to select the themes and target behaviours with the greatest potential for impact via a media campaign.DMI is currently prioritising child survival campaigns in Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Mozambique, and Tanzania. We believe every child has the right to a healthy and fulfilling life and we invite you to help us save more lives. With your support, we can expand our behaviour change campaigns which have the most impact on saving children’s lives.
