Kingsmead is a community preschool. It is run as a charity. Kingsmead is a happy and lively place where children thrive and confidence grows. Unfortunately the building is in need of multiple repairs and ideally requires replacing in the near future to continue to function. The preschool is one of only 2 locally and if it was to shut it would leave many 2 and 3 year olds without this fantastic start, easing them into the education setting and nurturing a love of “school.” The preschool community is fundraising endlessly in order to raise these vital funds but require additional assistance from grants in order to reach the target needed.
