At the core of our mission is the fight to represent and protect sharks. The health of our oceans depends on strong biodiversity and, most critical, the abundance of shark populations. Sharks are the underdog of conservation. Misunderstood, misrepresented, and mismanaged, sharks are being wiped out on a global scale. Shark Allies is taking on the challenge to defend and advocate for sharks on multiple levels internationally, through policy campaigns and media outreach. While this cause needs the highest level of commitment and support, it continues to be propelled by the heart and passion of grassroots advocates. With Shark Allies, we hope to lift shark conservation campaigns to a new level, but this can only be accomplished with the support of many.
