Second Chance Ranch Rescue and Sanctuary is a nonprofit animal rescue in the Fort Bragg, NC area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs and cats in need. SCRRS has saved hundreds of cats and dogs from homelessness, neglect and abuse since it's organization in 2018. We pride ourselves in being completely foster based so our fur friends can experience living with families while they await their forever homes. As a rescue, we specialize in Special Needs cases, which in the last two years alone have included hospice cases, extreme neglect, cancer, heartworm disease, congenital deformities requiring reconstructive surgery, and neurological disorders. Being awarded a grant would greatly increase our ability to continue saving the lives of those who are in the greatest need; the extremely neglected and abused.
