Saving Saints Rescue UK is a registered charity in England & Wales (1171050) who began life as a St Bernard rescue charity.  We now operate as Saving Saints & Big Paws Welfare which helps all larger breed dogs. You are probably reading this because you love dogs and want to make a difference. There are so many ways you can do this and joining our group your efforts are 100% more powerful. We rescue,  rehabilitate and support 100s of dogs in need every year in the UK.  Our charity is completely volunteer led and we receive no grants. Every penny of your donation goes to help a dog in desperate need.  We provide free behavioural advice to all of our fosters and adopters and this helps dogs in their homes when problems develop.  Part of our bigger mission is to educate the general public about the needs of larger breed dogs - our aim is to largely remove the need for rescue in the longer term.  We also offer pat therapy sessions too to people who are isolated and unable to have pets and visit hospices, care homes, social care settings to share the St Bernard love.
