Saddles Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary We are the safe landing and home for horses, specifically draft horses who have been neglected, abused, or surrendered by their owners. Most of them arrive injured, with emotional, physical, behavioral challenges, heartbroken and terribly sad. These horses have suffered losses and grieve just as we do. They feel pain as much as we do. Our commitment to these beautiful horses is to rehabilitate. We will then give each horse freedom to feel love, time and compassionate care, and go to the expense needed to provide what that care costs. The amount of money spent on special medicines, nutrition, hay, veterinary, farriers and specialists is extraordinary.
