Parker Paws is a foster-based, all-volunteer, non-profit 501©3 organization with a mission to reduce shelter overcrowding and pet overpopulation through rescue, foster, adoption, and our Community OutReach Program offering low-cost services.

We rescue homeless, abandoned animals from overcrowded shelters and take in owner surrenders to offer the community an alternative to the shelter and helping to reduce shelter overcrowding. Our  intake is limited by available resources – funds and foster homes.  We place these pets in loving foster homes, provide training and veterinary care – core vaccines,  spay/neuter & microchips, heartworm and flea prevention, nursing some thru illnesses….we are their  bridge to a forever family! We pride ourselves in adopting out fully vetted, family friendly pets who do  well in diverse homes.

Realizing that rescue is just a band-aid, we have expanded our services to include community outreach  programs to help reduce shelter overcrowding and companion pet overpopulation. We partner with  area vet clinics to offer low-cost microchip clinics to help reunite pets with owners more quickly and  reduce shelter overcrowding. We also have a Spay Neuter Incentive Program (SNIP) offering low-  cost/no-cost spay/neuters through our vet clinic partners to pet owners to help reduce the companion  pet overpopulation in North Texas.

We rely solely on donations from the community to sustain our mission. We are an all- volunteer group that shares a passion for making a PAWSitive difference in the lives of pets our  community!
