Birds are a special breed of animal. They require special diets, many restrictions in their environments, and a special type of care. We have many breeds here at the Sanctuary and our daily routine with them is a blessing. We do tours at our facility and go out in the community when invited to teach about Exotic Bird ownership. We do adoptions but the bird chooses his new family not the other way around. Between seed, pellets, fruit, vegetables, nuts, treats, room maintenance, cage maintenance, toys, and many other necessities our cost level is high. So any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
