About us
In New Zealand 1 in 4 kiwi children are sadly affected by sexual harm. In Canterbury we have the highest reported numbers to NZ Police for sexual harm in high schools and tertiary institutions.
We are the first and only charity to provide a handmade healing tote bag to youth aged 13 to 17 affected by a sexual harm incident attending either The Cambridge Clinic or START. All items have been carefully selected by the medical professionals helping them to ensure it aids their healing journey.
Over 80% of the items are handmade by volunteers. Many are older survivors who gibd making items aids their healing journey too. We have no paid staff.
