NZ children deserve enriching local content on their screens that not only reflects but also shows them who they can be. There is no doubt children spend lots of time on devices - so it is an opportunity to have strong local programmes for all age groups who have different stages and needs. We can do better - we advocate for more funding, more diversity and more access to programming made specifically for kids. This content can help our kids find heroes, understand the world around them, develop their identity as New Zealanders and discover who they can be as citisens.
