About us
Northern Colorado Wildlife Center (NCWC) is a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation and education organization dedicated to protecting wildlife and the places they call home through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.
Based in Northern Colorado, NCWC provides lifesaving, science-based care to injured, orphaned, and displaced wildlife from across the region and beyond. Our patients range from tiny songbirds and mammals to reptiles, amphibians, waterfowl, raptors, and bats—each arriving because someone cared enough to help.
In addition to hands-on rehabilitation, NCWC works to prevent future harm by educating the public about humane coexistence, wildlife safety, and conservation. We also play an important role in building capacity for wildlife care by training volunteers, interns, and future conservation professionals during a time when Colorado faces a long-standing wildlife rehabilitator shortage.
Every vote and donation directly supports medical care, specialized housing, nutrition, and around-the-clock monitoring for animals who have nowhere else to go. Together, we’re giving wildlife second chances and building a more compassionate future for the natural world.
