Maura's Mission aim is to advance the education of the poorest children in Malawi by providing bursaries to fund the secondary education of academically gifted children. These children would not have the opportunity of secondary education without our support as their families cannot afford the fees. All donations we receive fund the education of students and help pay for infrastructure improvements for a healthy, clean and safe environment at our donor schools in Northern Malawi. They also fund a part time team member who supports our students at school. Our success is giving the students the opportunity to become self sufficient and help their wider community. Two of our students are due to graduate in medicine this year and another has secured employment as a physiotherapist in their local area. You can help us help them by becoming a donor or donating to us. Most of our fantastic supporters who donate monthly pledge an average of £15 per month. £25 a month pays for a girls secondary education £12.50 per month for a boys secondary education. We have a fundraising campaign to raise fund through the virtual kilt walk on 23-25th April 21. Please get involved and get fit to help us help them.. Sir Tom Hunter is generously topping up funds raised by 50% up to £5000 per charity. This is our best fundraising opportunity this year and we urge you to support us. You can register for the Kiltwalk here https://www.thekiltwalk.co.uk/scotlandsvirtua and search for Maura's Mission to become part of our Kiltwalk team. It's going to be a fun weekend! Thank you
