High Five is a social support group run by volunteer parent Carers for children with disabilities and their families. The charity creates events and activities suitable for the whole family to socialise and be part of an active support network. Special children are safe to play, siblings are entertained and parents feel confident and connected. We want to reduce the isolation felt by many families. During Lockdown, we have continued to offer support through a programme of virtual events and activity boxes. Together we present a positive image of disability which challenges perceptions and encourages conversation to break down barriers.
