Marine Mammal Foundation
About us
Marine Mammal Foundation is a not-for-profit research, education, and conservation undertaken applied scientific research on marine mammals across Victoria. With the discovery of the Burrunan dolphin by MMF Founding Director and Head of Research Dr Kate Robb, MMF aims to be the leading Australian marine mammal conservation and research organisation, advancing the natural marine environment through applied research, community engagement and next generation learning. Through our ground-breaking internationally recognised research, MMF aims to apply the findings and learnings to achieve informed and effective conservation outcomes, advance the knowledge of marine conservation issues and empower change through greater awareness and action opportunities, and encourage and support the next generation, from early learners through to tertiary students, to ensure that what we do today, creates a better tomorrow. MMF is an ACNC registered charity and DGR entity. All donations received directly fund all MMF research, education, and conservation programs.
