Since 2003, the Father Bob Maguire Foundation has been providing an exceptional level
of care to thousands of displaced, homeless, vulnerable and impoverished
Melbournians.
With over 116,000 Australians homeless tonight and over 24,000 Victorians also
homeless, there’s been an increase in 5% over the last 5 years, the foundation will not
give up and continue to strive by giving a helping hand.
Since the impact of COVID-19, Whilst the numbers are ever increasing and there is no limit to the demand, each
year Father Bob’s delivers to those in need:
- Feeding more 250 meals a week, more than 1,000 people a month and over 50,000 meals yearly
- 5 weekly night meals
- Warehouse community hub/open pantry
- Financial literacy education in the community
- Assistance with referrals to organisations for community housing
- Free legal aid
- Free haircuts
- Stick up for Kids - Scholarships
- New Project Launch – RoboBus Australia’s first (STEM) mobile classroom.
