About us

The Lower Mainland Down Syndrome Society is a registered non profit with 5 branches throughout B.C. and was established in 1989. We provide outreach services, resources, health, education, therapy, counselling, vocational, and life skills, to families and individuals born with Down syndrome/Autism.

In 2023 we served over 20,000 individuals and the need continues to grow by supporting the work that we do no child will be left behind.
