We are a dog rescue in a city with a dog and cat crisis. This animals breed year round in this city of Houston, Texas. The animal welfare resources here are limited, depleted, or simply unenforceable. We are part of a huge rescue community, but we differentiate ourselves in the fact that we actually foster and rehabilitate the dogs we rescue ourselves. My husband Arturo, and I, and a handful of fosters care for several dozens of dogs, many for not only months but years at a time. We fight to save dogs from abuse, neglect, euthanasia lists at shelter, the streets and the chains. We are a committed small group of animal advocates and all our resources go to the benefit of the dogs. We also help some owned dogs get spayed and neutered, as we know this is the answer to this crisis.
